Buy well, hold well. The rest is noise.

ZELQUAR LTD trades goods and holds investments for its own account from an EU base in Cyprus. Two activities, one principle: we only take a position we would be comfortable holding if the exit took twice as long as planned.

01 — What we do

Two books, run to the same rule

Goods on one side, holdings on the other. Both are our own capital, and both are sized so a bad outcome is survivable rather than merely unlikely.

I

Physical trading

We buy and sell goods for our own account, settling against documents rather than promises. Every trade has a counterparty check, a documentary chain and a plan for what happens if the cargo is late.

Own accountDocumentaryCounterparty checks
II

Counterparty & supply diligence

Who you trade with matters more than what you trade. Registry checks, ownership, payment history and the awkward question of who actually controls the goods at each hand-over.

RegistryOwnershipTitle chain
III

Investments held

Positions in operating companies and instruments, taken with our own capital and held without a calendar-driven exit. There is no fund, no subscription and nothing to sell you.

IV

Risk & position sizing

The dull discipline that decides whether a trading business exists in five years: size positions so no single one can end the company, and refuse the trade that requires everything to go right.

How a trade actually gets done

Four stages, and the second one kills most of them. That is the stage doing its job.

Stage 01 · Origin

Where does it come from?

A trade starts with provenance, not price. Who owns the goods now, who owned them before, and can that be shown on paper rather than asserted on a call.

ProvenanceOwnershipPaper trail
Stage 02 · Counterparty

Who is on the other side?

Registry extract, ownership structure, and how they have settled previously. An attractive price from an unverifiable counterparty is not an attractive trade.

Stage 03 · Terms & documents

Settled against paper

Incoterms, inspection, and payment mechanics agreed in writing before anything moves. Most trade disputes are really documentation disputes that surfaced late.

Boring is the target

Logistics, settlement, reconciliation. A trade that generates a story usually generated a loss somewhere in it.

01 — What we do

Two books, run to the same rule

Goods on one side, holdings on the other. Both are our own capital, and both are sized so a bad outcome is survivable rather than merely unlikely.

Goods we understand

We trade categories where we can read the specification, verify the quality claim and price the logistics. Outside that, the margin is somebody else’s information advantage.

Documents over assurances

Title, inspection certificates, transport documents. A warm relationship is pleasant; a documentary credit is enforceable.

Positions we can hold

Anything bought is sized so that holding it twice as long as planned is inconvenient rather than fatal.

Our own balance sheet

No client capital, no managed accounts, no pooled vehicle. When a position goes wrong, it goes wrong for us alone.

Every trader eventually meets a counterparty who is charming, urgent and slightly vague about the paperwork. The whole discipline is being willing to walk away from that trade while it still looks like money.

04 — FAQ

Clearly answered

Can I invest or trade through ZELQUAR?

No. The company trades and invests on its own account. There is no fund, no managed account and no subscription. Nothing here is an offer of securities or an invitation to invest.

Are you regulated?

No. ZELQUAR LTD is not authorised by CySEC or any other financial regulator. It provides no investment advice, no portfolio management and no brokerage, and holds no client funds.

What do you trade?

Goods in categories where we can read the specification, verify quality and price the logistics ourselves. We deliberately stay out of categories where the margin depends on someone else’s information advantage.

Do you publish trading results?

No. Self-reported results from a private company are unverifiable by you. We would rather publish nothing than a number you cannot check.

Will you look at a trade we bring you?

Sometimes. Send the provenance and the counterparty first — not the price. If those do not hold up, the price is irrelevant.

Which markets do you serve?

Registered in Cyprus, active across the EU and beyond, in English and German.

No regulated financial services. ZELQUAR LTD is not authorised or supervised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) or any other financial regulator. It provides no investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage, custody or any other regulated investment service, and holds no client funds or client financial instruments.

Own account only. All trading and investment activity is conducted for the company’s own account and at its own risk. There is no fund, no managed account and no pooled vehicle. Nothing on this website is an offer of securities, an invitation to invest or a financial promotion.

No performance representations. This website contains no past or projected performance figures. Any such figures presented elsewhere in this sector should be treated as unverifiable unless independently audited.

Risk. Trading and investing involve risk, including the total loss of capital. Anyone considering such activity should take independent, licensed advice appropriate to their own circumstances.

Let’s talk

Goods, a counterparty question, or a position you want read properly?

Send the provenance and the counterparty before the price. If those do not hold up, we will say so and save us both the negotiation.
